A home insurance provider has launched a new deal offering one third off the cost of a policy when customers take out both buildings and contents insurance combined this autumn. So is this an unbeatable offer?

Paying less for such an important purchase makes sense, particularly in these tough economic times. With the summer holidays gone and Christmas on its way, saving money is arguably more important than ever and it’s easy to be tempted by an attractive headline offer.
